The third Sunday of every month is our outreach Sunday, although as individual Christians we are supposed to be witnessing daily everywhere we go. There are three reasons why we need to witness with urgency:
- Because the love of God for people compels us to (2Cor. 5:14; John 3:16)
- Because God has a wonderful plan for people � here on earth and hereafter) but if we don�t tell them, they have no way of knowing (Romans 10:14).
- Because of God�s judgment that is coming upon all unsaved people (Hebrews 9:27).
The
Bible says "it's destined for man to die once and after that to face judgement" (Heb. 9:27). That judgement is the lake of fire. That judgment is REAL.
How to be saved!
Salvation is by putting your faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ on the cross. "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Eph. 2:8)
It begins by realizing and acknowledging that you are a helpless sinner before a most holy God who loves you very much. You can't do anything about your sins but God through Jesus has done everything for you, because of His great love for you. If you welcome him by faith into your life both as personal Savior and Lord of your life (Revelation 3:20), your life will be transformed and you will be a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). He will forgive you of all your sins and give you His Holy Spirit and you will become a child of God (John 1:12).
Pray this prayer of repentance now to welcome Christ into your life:

"Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner. I have sinned against a God who is holy and who loves me greatly. But I believe according to your word that you died to pay the penalty of my sins. Please come into my life, Lord Jesus, and make me yours now and forevermore. Forgive me of my sins both past and present. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and make me your child as per your word. And now, I choose to forgive anyone who has sinned against me for your forgiveness to be complete in my life. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen!"
