A story is told of a little girl who had just heard the story "Snow White for the first time. So full of enthusiasm that she could hardly contain herself, she retold the fairy tale to her mother. After telling about how Prince Charming had arrived on his beautiful white horse and kissed Snow White back to life, she asked her mother, And do you know what happened then?



Yes, said her mom, they lived happily thereafter. No, responded Suzie, with a frown, they got married.
 
This little girl, with childlike innocence, spoke the glaring truth in many marriages � that getting married and living happily ever after are not necessarily synonymous.

Many marriages are like violins or a guitar, the sweet music has long stopped but the strings are still attached.  Can the music be brought back again? Does it have to stop?

Yes, we believe the music in marriage can continue and even get sweeter and sweeter, but with good work from both partners. Someone correctly observed that even if marriages are made in heaven, humans have to be responsible for their maintenance. Yes, there is work to do.
