Women today fill a variety of roles: friend, wife, mother, grandmother, businesswoman, student, corporate leader, volunteer helper and many more. The activities of the Women's Ministry of DFI desires to support women in all these roles and provide them with an opportunity to connect with other women. |

The three main purposes of the Women's ministry in DFI are:
1. To help meet the varied needs of the women in the church by encouraging development of deeper commitments in living for God. This is achieved by promoting a growing relationship with Jesus through prayer, bible studies and fellowship.
2. To instill and develop stability, security and strength in the women of DFI by building fellowship and encouraging one another.
3. To offer opportunities to achieve these deeper commitments by sharing, serving, helping and building relationships with each other.
